Welcome

Kempo Academy of Martial Arts services the Darien, Fairfield, New Canaan, Norwalk, Ridgefield, Westport and Wilton areas and offers classes in:

Over the past 20 years, the Kempo Academy of Martial Arts has created a highly successful curriculum that teaches both leadership and character building philosophies and traditional martial arts training methods. As Martial Artists we lead by example, treating others the way we want to be treated. We always do the right thing, exercise self-control and take responsibility for our actions. We only use our martial arts when bodily harm comes our way.

  Curriculum  

We have developed a world class Leadership and Character Development Curriculum. Through our Shaolin Kempo Karate and our Leadership training, our specialty is teaching students from children to adults and empowering them with the skills to become leaders in life. We have a dedicated team of Certified Black Belt instructors trained solely through the Shaolin Kempo Martial Arts System Developed By Master Scott Craigue. We do not hire outside of our organization so you know you can trust our team to teach your children.

  Application  

Being able to perform kempo moves and being able to apply them effectively are entirely different skills. While there is a vast wealth of information available about kempo techniques, their applications are often unelaborated or misunderstood. At Kempo Academy we place tremendous value, and therefore emphasis, on preparing our junior adult and adult students to apply their techniques effectively and with confidence in a variety of situations.

  Fitness  

We have developed a fitness program that is second to none in making a healthy lifestyle accessible to everyone. Our cardio kickboxing classes are filled with variety, challenge, group camaraderie, and awesome music.

  Community Service  

Approaching 20 years of business in Fairfield County CT, no other martial arts organization comes close to the trust and service we have provided to the Fairfield County Community. We are actively involved in National Charities from Susan G. Komen, Cure Search, and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. We donate our time and services to local fairs, Norwalk Stepping Stones Museum, Church Auctions, and various school activities. In addition to classes in our Dojo locations we are also teach introductory classes in local Parks and Recreation facilities and both private and public schools. We encourage our students to participate in these same events.

We are committed to excellence. We have the highest expectations and we start by setting good examples and being role models for our students. We believe the learning process is never over. The instructors and staff at Kempo Academy are continually training to improve their martial arts skill, and are always improving their teaching methods to ensure that we always offer the best we have to our students.
